Elsa González Esteban

Associate Professor (tenured) of Moral Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy and Sociology.

Elsa González Esteban is a graduate in Humanities and a Doctor of Philosophy (business ethics) from Universitat Jaume I. She has furthered her studies in business ethics and economics at the University of Notre Dame (Indiana, USA), the University of Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania, USA) and the London School of Economics and Political Science (London, Great Britain).

Her lines of research include discursive ethics, applied ethics, business and economic ethics, theory of the stakeholders, corporate and organisational social responsibility, cosmopolitan governance, economic governance, and code of values.

Since 2003, she is the co-director of Recerca. Revista de Pensament i Anàlisi, a journal indexed in several quality indices, among which SCOPUS stand out. Since 2015, she has been the Academic Director of the University for Elders at Universitat Jaume I. And a member of the EBEN Board of Directors in Spain, which aims to promote cooperation among all researchers and companies interested in ethical management of organisations in Spain.
